Selling dolls made according to the patterns of Mamsell Su – Dolls and Pattern e.U.
At Dolls and Pattern, community is at the heart of everything we do. I’d love for you to use my patterns to make your own rag dolls and even earn an income from them.
You don’t need a license to sell dolls made from my patterns. However, I ask that you honor my creative work by appropriately crediting my designs when selling them.
To ensure fair treatment of my designs, some special terms and conditions apply to the sale of rag dolls made from my patterns.
Handmade unique pieces
Each doll should be handcrafted by you personally and with love. Only the person who purchased the pattern may sell the dolls created from it – and only directly to end customers.
The number of dolls that can be sold per year is limited to 100 per pattern. Anything above this number is considered mass production and is prohibited.
Wholesale or corporate sales are not permitted.
Labeled as “Mamsell Su Pattern” design
Every doll sold must be clearly identifiable as a product of a Mamsell Su pattern.
- The product description at the time of sale, as well as on labels or accompanying materials, must state that the doll was made according to a pattern from Mamsell Su – Dolls and Pattern.
- Social media posts should acknowledge my design and link to my website or social media channels.
- A simple note like “made with a pattern from Mamsell Su Pattern” is sufficient.
If you tag me in your social media posts, I can share your work and help raise awareness of your business.
Safety and quality standards
You are responsible for ensuring that your dolls made from my patterns meet all legal safety standards.
Safety requirements vary from country to country – please check the applicable regulations for your sales area.
For example, when sold within the EU, children’s stuffed dolls must bear a CE mark and comply with toy safety guidelines.
No changes to the patterns
Minor adjustments for personalization are permitted, but no significant changes that significantly alter the original design may be made.
Resizing to create larger or smaller versions of the dolls for sale is not permitted.
Redesigning patterns for other animals or figures is prohibited. For example, a cat pattern may not be altered to create bears, rabbits, or dogs.
Protection of the brand
I reserve the right to revoke permission to sell my patterns at any time and without giving reasons.
If a seller violates the above conditions or behaves unethically, the right to sell will be revoked immediately.
By following these rules, you’ll help foster a fair, creative, and sustainable craft community. I appreciate your respectful use of my design and am happy to support your success.
